Privacy Policy

Privacy.

One policy covering every Phil Woolley app. The short version: nothing about you leaves your device, because nothing about you is collected in the first place.

Effective July 21, 2026

01Apps this covers

This policy applies to all apps published by Phil Woolley, including Samplomatic, GifForge, and PW-SEQ-1, plus future apps unless a specific app page states otherwise. An app whose features require sending data off-device (for example, AI-powered features) will say so plainly on its own page before it ships.

02What is collected

Nothing. These apps are designed to run entirely on-device. There are no accounts to create, no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no trackers of any kind. No personal data is gathered, stored on a server, or sold, because none is collected.

03Content you create

Some apps work with content you choose to capture. Samplomatic, for example, records audio from a source you select (a microphone, line-in, or USB audio interface) so you can build sample programs. That audio, and anything you make from it, stays on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere. Files leave the device only when you deliberately export them through the iOS Files app to a destination you pick.

04Permissions

An app requests a system permission only when a feature needs it, and only for that feature. Microphone access, for instance, is used solely for on-device recording. You can review and revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings.

05Purchases

Any purchases or unlocks are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Payment details are processed by Apple. These apps never see your card number or billing information.

06Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13.

07Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
