Privacy Policy
Samplomatic Privacy.
Samplomatic is an iOS auto-sampler made by Phil Woolley. This is the app-specific policy; it follows the shared Phil Woolley privacy policy.
Effective July 21, 202601What is collected
Nothing. Samplomatic collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no crash reporting.
02Permissions
The app can request microphone access to record audio you choose to capture, and Bluetooth-MIDI access to connect MIDI controllers. Both are used only for on-device audio sampling, the core function of the app. You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings.
03Where it is stored
Everything stays on your device. Your audio never leaves it, except when you choose to export a file through the iOS Files app to a destination you pick. App preferences are stored locally on the device. There is no cloud sync.
04What is shared
Nothing. Samplomatic has no third-party SDKs and makes zero network calls. No ad networks, no tracking, no selling data.
The one-time $9.99 unlock is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Samplomatic never sees your payment details.
05Your choices & deletion
Uninstalling the app removes all of its local data and preferences. Any files you have exported elsewhere via the Files app are yours to manage and delete separately.
06Children
Samplomatic is not directed at children under 13.
